Terms of Service

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process
• Maintain and promptly update your account information to keep it accurate, current, and complete
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to or use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to immediately notify Tidied of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. Tidied will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or abusive behavior. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

Tidied offers both free and premium subscription plans. The premium subscription (Tidied Premium) is available for $14.99 per year and includes additional features such as:

• Unlimited rooms
• Household sharing for up to 6 people, with a leaderboard
• Monthly household challenges
• Unlimited task history
• Priority customer support

New users may be eligible for a 30-day free trial of Tidied Premium. You will not be charged during the trial period. At the end of the trial period, your subscription will automatically renew and you will be charged the annual subscription fee unless you cancel before the trial period ends.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. By providing payment information, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the payment method provided. You agree to pay all fees and charges incurred in connection with your account at the rates in effect when the charges were incurred.

Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period (annual) unless you cancel before the renewal date. You authorize us to charge your payment method for the renewal fee. We will provide you with notice of any price changes before they take effect.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting our support team. Cancellation will be effective at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to premium features until the end of the paid period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods.

The free trial is your opportunity to evaluate Tidied Premium before paying anything. Beyond that, we will refund a subscription charge in the following circumstances:

• You were charged in error (e.g., duplicate charges, technical errors)
• You ask us within 14 days of the charge, including the charge that follows a free trial
• The Service was unavailable for an extended period due to our technical issues

To request a refund, please contact us at support@tidied.app with your account details. Requests outside these circumstances are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

We reserve the right to modify our subscription fees at any time. We will provide you with at least 30 days' notice of any price changes. Your continued use of the Service after the price change becomes effective constitutes your agreement to pay the modified amount.

Subscription fees are quoted in US dollars. Where VAT, sales tax, or an equivalent levy applies in your country, it is calculated and shown by Stripe at checkout. You are responsible for any other taxes, levies, or duties associated with your subscription.

The Service and its entire contents, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, video, audio, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof) are owned by Tidied, its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by United Kingdom and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

The Tidied name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of Tidied or its affiliates or licensors. You must not use such marks without our prior written permission.

You retain all rights to any content you submit, post, or display on or through the Service ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant Tidied a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform the User Content in connection with the Service and Tidied's business operations.

If you provide us with any feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service ("Feedback"), you grant us the right to use such Feedback without any obligation to compensate you. We may use Feedback for any purpose, including improving the Service or creating new products or services.

We use Supabase as our database and authentication provider. Supabase's services are subject to their own terms of service and privacy policy. Your use of Supabase through our Service is subject to Supabase's terms.

Payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe"). By providing payment information, you agree to be bound by Stripe's Services Agreement and Privacy Policy. We do not store your complete payment card information on our servers.

We may use third-party analytics services to help understand usage of the Service. These services may collect information about your use of the Service and other websites. This information is used to improve our Service and user experience.

Tidied is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. When you click on Amazon product links on our website (such as in blog posts recommending cleaning products or supplies), we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. Product recommendations are based on our genuine assessment of their usefulness, though we may receive compensation for qualifying purchases.

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of any third-party services. We make no warranties or representations regarding third-party services. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to the terms and conditions of such third parties.

Links to third-party websites or services are provided for your convenience only. We do not endorse or make any representations about third-party websites or services.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@tidied.app or through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Breach of these Terms
• Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
• Extended periods of inactivity
• Requests by law enforcement or government agencies
• Discontinuation or material modification of the Service
• Unexpected technical or security issues

Upon termination of your account:

• Your right to access and use the Service will immediately cease
• We may delete your account and all associated data, including User Content
• You will remain liable for all obligations incurred prior to termination
• Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability

Upon termination, we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes. We may also retain cached or archived copies of information about you for a period of time.

Tidied is operated from the United Kingdom. These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

In the event of any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, you agree to first contact us at support@tidied.app to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will work in good faith to resolve any disputes.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over it. Nothing in this section removes a consumer's right to bring proceedings in the courts of the country in which they are resident, where applicable law gives them that right.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including any rights you have under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or equivalent legislation in your country of residence.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices or agreements published by us on the Service, constitute the entire agreement between you and Tidied regarding your use of the Service.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision. Any waiver of any provision of these Terms will be effective only if in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Tidied.

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights hereunder, in whole or in part, without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms at any time without notice or consent.

Tidied shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, pandemics, strikes, or shortages of transportation facilities, fuel, energy, labor, or materials.

The Service may be subject to United Kingdom export control laws and to export or import regulations in other countries. You agree to strictly comply with all such laws and regulations and acknowledge that you are responsible for obtaining any necessary authorization to export, re-export, or import the Service.

By using the Service, you consent to receive electronic communications from us. These communications may include notices about your account, promotional messages, and other information concerning or related to the Service. You agree that any notices, agreements, disclosures, or other communications that we send to you electronically will satisfy any legal communication requirements.

These Terms were originally written in English. If there is any conflict between the English version and any translated version, the English version shall prevail.
